A Gift Of Gerberas

During the early days of covid lockdown the flower growers of Carpinteria couldn't get their flowers to market so they chose to give them away rather than leave them to rot in the fields. It was a beautiful gesture, one deeply appreciated by the community, and for a spell in this dark covid landscape it seemed as if every house and apartment had a burst of these bright blooms in their windows. It was an absolute joy to paint them.
