Fields At Dawn

G and I have been running through these fields at dawn every day for a while now and have never stopped to take in the view before. But on this particular morning the play of light was so extraordinary on the mountains, the jagged purple shadows so deeply contrasted with the warm pinkish blush of the peaks, that we literally stopped running to admire it. The photographs we took that morning became the inspiration for this painting and I have loved every minute of painting it. Hope you love it too. Cheers!
