Roses In The Church Garden

This beautiful little church was actually used as a polling station during last November's presidential election and only because I had registered to vote in America for the first time did we discover it. Again, just like the flowers in the foothills, it felt like a moment of destiny. The lovely serenity of the church and the exquisite roses in the garden were irresistible and I just had to paint them. I hope my painting brings a smile to your face as the flowers did to mine.
