The Sugar Bushes

The light was particularly stunning on the day we came across this beautiful scene in Seaside Gardens. Colour seemed to be everywhere, it was irresistible. The path was dappled with pinks and purples, the orange and yellow pokers marching off to the left, the splashes of reds and magentas so striking in the sunshine. But it was the exotic sugarbushes in the centre that were so captivating with their spectacular display of ice-pink flowers. What a joy to paint!
